# TP/SL

> (Take Profit/Stop Loss)

TP/SL's allow you to automate closing your trade at a price you determine, this can be used to lock in profit if the price reaches a certain number, or to prevent liquidations by closing your position before it reaches your liquidation price to save some funds.  To set a TP/SL:

* Click on the tab below where you choose to long or short
* Enter the value of the position you want to close in the first field
* Enter the price you want to trigger your order in the second field
* Press the "Order" button
* Sign the transaction in your wallet
