Now that you have a fresh wallet ready to go, its time to fund it. There are a multitude of ways to do this, one of the most popular is funding it through a Centralized Exchange (CEX). There are a number of CEXs that you can choose from and their availability depends on region, but we’ll give you a brief overview on how to generally do this:
Set up an account, depending on your region this may require more or less personal information and typically KYC
Connect a card or bank account (this is what you will use to buy cryptocurrency)
Choose the currency to buy, for getting to core, typically you will choose USDCorUSDC and $ETH to cover gas fees (you can offramp to a L2 to avoid the majority of these but will need to cover gas no matter what)
Withdrawal from the exchange, you will need to use the wallet address you created when setting up your wallet
Wait for the transaction to process (this may vary depending on the network)
